Announcement
After six years of service to the Parkland community, Professionals United for Parkland will be ending its operations. Born from the collective grief following the 2018 tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, our nonprofit was founded to help the community heal and navigate the profound impact of trauma. Together, we created a vetted therapist directory, held workshops for community members, and provided specialized trainings for clinicians. Today, we take heart in knowing the community is surrounded by outstanding organizations as well as many skills professionals. We want to thank Trauma Recovery, EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Program (HAP), United Way, MSD Alumni, and Eagles' Haven, whose support has been invaluable. Remaining funds in our account will be donated to Eagles' Haven and HAP to help them continue with their important work and in the spirit of our mission.
While the journey of healing is ongoing, we feel confident that the community is in good hands. Thank you to everyone who supported and believed in our mission. We wish Parkland and the surrounding communities impacted by this tragedy continued strength and healing.
